Here’s what you’ll be doing
We are looking for a passionate and motivated product engineer who partners with us to build intuitive, scalable, and delightful user experiences for teachers, students, and parents.
As a product Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying high-quality product. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, educators, and gain exposure to real-world usage in schools..
This role offers strong mentorship, hands-on ownership, and continuous growth in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
What you’ll achieve in your first 3 months
- Understand the codebase, architecture, and core product workflows
- Build strong fundamentals in React, state management, CSS and gain a basic understanding of Apollo
- Start contributing to feature development and production fixes with mentor support
What you’ll achieve in your first 6 months
- Independently deliver major features by writing clean, modular, and optimized code
- Become comfortable with Chrome DevTools and profiling tools like react profile, memory profiling, and performance tools
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally
What you’ll achieve in your first 12 months
- Own modules end-to-end, coordinating closely with Product and Support teams through scoping, design review, development, release, and post-release support
- Get the opportunity to work on performance and frontend infra projects
- Contribute to onboarding, technical knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of engineering processes
Must have Skills:
- Languages & Frameworks - JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5 / CSS3, React & Redux
- Tools & Platforms - Git (basics) , Chrome DevTools, GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
Good to have:
- Working knowledge of Apollo client and GraphQL
- Exposure to Node.js, Express, and SQL
- Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack
- Product mindset with empathy for end users
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
