Toddle is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform for K–12 schools. Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries.

Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices, so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.

Our approach is three-pronged.

First, Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place. Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.

Second, every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered. Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.

Third, Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem. The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
You can watch our founder and CEO’s overview of Toddle here.

Headquartered in India with a multicultural team across 20+ countries, Toddle is built by former educators and school practitioners who understand the realities of classrooms firsthand. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and reducing unnecessary complexity for teachers. People who thrive at Toddle enjoy building thoughtful systems, care about real-world impact, and are motivated by long-term change in K-12 education.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

We are looking for an experienced IB Diploma Programme educator who wants to bring their classroom and curriculum expertise into building and improving products used by IB schools around the world.

You should have hands-on experience teaching DP students and a strong understanding of how the Diploma Programme works in practice - from curriculum planning and teaching to assessment, grading, and reporting. Experience as a DP Coordinator, subject or department lead, curriculum leader, examiner, or in another school-wide role would be an advantage.

At Toddle, you’ll use this experience to become a bridge between IB educators, schools, and our product teams.
You’ll develop deep expertise in Toddle and use your experience as a DP educator to test whether our products reflect how IB teachers and schools actually work. You’ll also work with schools to understand complex curriculum and product requirements, determine how Toddle can support them, recommend alternative workflows where appropriate, and identify genuine product gaps.

Is this someone that looks like you?

Bring a DP educator’s perspective to the product

  • Use your experience as a DP educator to assess whether Toddle’s workflows reflect how IB teachers, coordinators, and schools actually work.
  • Test new features and enhancements end-to-end using realistic teaching, assessment, grading, and reporting scenarios.
  • Evaluate workflows across different subjects, roles, school structures, configurations, and permissions.
  • Identify functional issues, curriculum or workflow gaps, edge cases, confusing experiences, and inconsistencies before they reach schools.
  • Look beyond whether a feature technically works to whether the complete workflow makes sense for an educator using it.
  • Bring your understanding of IB curriculum and assessment practices into discussions with product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Reproduce issues reported by schools and help teams understand the curriculum and school context in which they occur.
  • Create and maintain realistic test scenarios for critical school workflows as the product evolves.

Connect IB school needs with Toddle

  • Work with IB educators, coordinators, school leaders, and school groups to understand their curriculum, assessment, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Go beyond the solution a school initially asks for to understand the underlying problem they are trying to solve.
  • Distinguish between an IB requirement, a school-specific practice, and a product requirement.
  • Map school requirements to Toddle’s existing capabilities and recommend the most appropriate setup or workflow.
  • Suggest sensible alternatives when a requirement cannot be supported exactly as requested.
  • Recognise when a requirement represents a genuine product gap rather than something that can be addressed through existing functionality or configuration.
  • Distinguish between a requirement specific to one school and a broader need relevant to IB schools at scale.
  • Translate genuine product gaps into clear workflows and problem statements for product teams, bringing in the relevant curriculum context.
  • Clearly communicate to schools what Toddle supports today, what can be achieved through an alternative workflow, and what requires further product evaluation.
  • Support product demonstrations, workshops, and solutioning discussions with IB educators and school leaders.
  • Bring patterns and learnings from IB schools back to product teams to help Toddle continue to evolve for IB educators.

How the role will evolve

  • In your first 3 months: Build deep expertise in Toddle and use your DP experience to test curriculum, assessment, grading, reporting, and other school workflows against realistic school scenarios.
  • By 6 months: Start working more directly with IB schools - understanding their requirements, distinguishing IB requirements from school practices, and mapping their needs to Toddle or recommending appropriate alternatives.
  • By 1 year: Independently own complex IB school requirements, contribute to enterprise solutioning, identify meaningful product gaps, and become a trusted internal expert connecting IB schools with Toddle’s product teams.

What we’re looking for

This role is specifically for experienced IBDP educators. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have hands-on experience teaching an IBDP subject and working with DP students.
  • Have a strong working understanding of DP curriculum, teaching, assessment, grading, and reporting from having worked with these workflows yourself.
  • Understand how DP requirements translate into the day-to-day workflows of teachers, coordinators, and students.
  • Can distinguish between an IB requirement and an individual school’s own academic practice.
  • Have ideally taken on responsibilities beyond your own classroom, such as DP coordination, subject/department leadership, curriculum leadership, examining, assessment and reporting, or academic technology.
  • Can draw on your own experience to identify how a product workflow would work across different DP subjects, teachers, and school contexts.
  • Are naturally curious and tend to ask both “What happens if...?” and “What problem are we actually trying to solve?”
  • Can take a broad school or curriculum workflow and break it down into detailed scenarios, variations, and edge cases.
  • Have strong attention to detail and can spot inconsistencies others may miss.
  • Enjoy learning technology and can become deeply familiar with a complex product.
  • Can explain complex product and curriculum workflows simply to educators and school leaders.
  • Can communicate school needs and product issues clearly to product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Are comfortable saying when something isn’t currently possible while helping schools find the best available path forward.
  • Have experience using an LMS, SIS, school management platform, or other education technology as part of your work as an educator..

Experience

  • We are hiring at both Product & IBDP Curriculum Specialist and Senior Product & IBDP Curriculum Specialist levels. The level will depend on the depth and breadth of your experience as a DP educator and the level of ownership you are ready to take on.
